2 tbsp oat straw
2 tbsp alfalfa
½ +/- tsp fresh grated ginger
1-2 cloves fresh chopped garlic
Elderberries- a very small handful
Orange – one slice
Cranberries- to taste
Cinnamon – stir with one stick
Put the first 5 ingredients into a tea steeper, and then put cranberries to your liking. Throw the orange slice on top. Put the tea steeper on top full of the herbs and then pour boiling water over and let steep for about 7 minutes. Stir it with a cinnamon stick. It has a kick and may not be suitable for children or sensitive individuals.
Alfalfa –diuretic, high in vitamins, minerals, proteins, bad amino acid canavanine, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant
Oat straw – good for stress, anxiety, depression
Ginger- digestion, immunity, PMS, nausea, upset stomach, pain, overall health
Garlic –antioxidant, antimicrobial, antiviral, decongestant, expectorant
Cinnamon- antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial
Elderberry -antioxidant
Orange -vitamin C
Cranberries- antioxidant, oral health, kidneys, urinary, heart health
