INGREDIENTS:
2 cups whole milk, or another milk option (raw dairy, (cow or goat), canned coconut, almond. oat. cashew. hemp)
1 teaspoon fresh turmeric root, or organic powder
1/2 teaspoon ginger, fresh and thinly sliced, powder, candied
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black peppercorn
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, more to your liking, (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a heavy bottom stainless steel saucepan on medium-low heat, add 2 cups of milk.
Allow the milk to cook for 2 to 3 minutes or warm.
Add the organic turmeric, freshly ground peppercorn, ginger.
Using a hand whisk, mix all the ingredients until thoroughly mixed.
Once the ingredients have fully mixed, pour the golden turmeric milk into a large coffee mug.
If desired, add sweetener.
