Garlic oil can be applied topically for skin problems, such as athlete's foot (tinea), or for earache, worms, or high blood pressure. Be aware that some infused garlic oil preparations can contain a spore that may cause botulism. If in doubt, use this preparation topically and the steam-distilled essential oil orally.
Garlic Allium sativum (peeled and minced): 8 ounces
Olive oil (warm and sufficient to cover)
Warm the oil in a bowl over a pot of water or using a double boiler. Never put oil directly over heat as it can easily catch fire. Place the garlic in a large jar. Add sufficient oil to cover the garlic. Shake and then place in a warm place for two to three days. Strain through cotton or muslin, bottle, and keep refrigerated. Use 10 drops three times a day.
