CONCENTRATED FLOWER WATER

Neroli Citrus aurantium var. amara oil: 25 drops

Alcohol 90% (from your own supplies): 2 ounce

Filtered water: ½ ounce

(1% dilution ratio)

Mix all the ingredients and shake well. To make orange flower water, dilute the full amount with 39x its volume of filtered water. When you mix the oil, alcohol, and filtered water called for in the formula, you will have a total volume of about 2½ ounces. This will be a concentrated mixture. To make the “flower water,” you will need to dilute it by adding more distilled water. So, 39x 2½ ounces will be 97½ ounces. You’ll add 97½ ounces filtered water to the 2½ ounces you originally blended to give you 100 ounces of orange flower water.
