Lavender Lavandula angustifolia oil: 10 drops
Sweet orange Citrus sinensis oil: 7 drops
Peppermint Mentha ×piperita oil: 4 drops
Ginger Zingiber officinale oil: 4 drops
Blend the oils. Add 10 drops to three teaspoons of carrier oil, such as sweet almond, and apply to earlobes, base of neck, and inside of wrists while in an airplane. You can also prepare a small spray bottle of water and add a few drops of this blend (or more—use your own nose to test it) and mist above your head and body while flying to minimize jet lag and overcome the dryness of the cabin. It is important to drink at least 16 ounces of water hourly while flying.
