Pediculosis (lice) is an infestation of the hairy parts of the body or clothing with the eggs, larvae or adults of lice. The crawling stages of this insect feed on human blood, which can result in severe itching. Head lice are usually located on the scalp, crab lice in the pubic area and body lice along seams of clothing.
TREATMENT #1
Listerine- kills live lice
Apple Cider Vinegar- dissolves nits for easy removal.
1. Pour listerine (blue) on entire head, soaking hair. Wring hair out and place 2 shopping bags over head. (Disposable shower caps work great too). Tie it into place. Leave on hair for at least 4 hours. Take bags off and wash hair. You will be able to see dead lice in the bags.
2. Pour Apple Cider Vinegar on hair. Put bag on head and leave for at least 1 hour. Wash. Comb hair thoroughly.
3. Comb hair with lice comb daily to make sure all is gone. Spray hair lightly with peppermint oil and water.
You can do the listerine treatment one day and ACV the next day if you want.
For heavy infestation, do this treatment at least 2 times per week until completely resolved. May continue 1 time per week to keep lice away.
