
BRONCHITIS- is an inflammation of the bronchial tubes, the airways that carry air to your lungs. It causes a cough that often brings up mucus. It can also cause shortness of breath, wheezing, a low fever, and chest tightness.
Ginger- anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce inflammation caused by bronchitis and relieves many of the symptoms.
Manuka Honey- powerful anti-viral. Can fight many viruses that cause bronchitis.
Add 1 teaspoon ground ginger and 1 teaspoon Manuka Honey to 1 cup of boiling water. Let steep for 5 minutes and drink.
Drink this up to 4 times per day until the bronchitis subsides.
Fluids- Drink as much clear fluid as possible, such as water or homemade chicken broth. This will help to loosen mucus and make it easier to expel. Making the throat and lungs moist is the optimum thing to do. You can use a humidifier or personal vaporizer to get moisture into your airway.
