Red raspberry Rubus idaeus leaves: 2 ounces
Marshmallow Althaea officinalis root: 1 ounce
Filtered water: 1½ pint
Place the raspberry leaves in the water in a covered saucepan and simmer for 15
minutes. Strain and cool. Pour the strained liquid over the marshmallow root and
leave to steep for one to two hours, until mucilage is extracted.
Use as a wash topically for inflamed or sore areas or orally use two to six
tablespoons three times a day. Store for no more than 24 hours in the refrigerator.
