Heat almond oil and lanolin in a double boiler or water bath over a saucepan of boiling water and add calendula C. officinalis flowers. Never heat oil directly on the heat source or microwave, as it can ignite.
Simmer the water gently for one hour or until you see the color of the flowers extracted into the lanolin. Strain the hot lanolin herb mixture through the cheesecloth, squeezing the herb to extract all the lanolin. You will need to wear rubber gloves for this.
Add the grated beeswax and stir until it is completely melted. Add the tincture and essential oils.
Stir well and pour into sterile jars. Leave to settle dor a few minutes, then fill the jars to just below the rim. Cool before putting on the lid.
