
COMMON COLD- The common cold is a viral infection of your nose and throat (upper respiratory tract).
Cayenne- powerful decongestant and pain reliever. Can help ease congestion, headaches and sore throat.
Fenugreek Seeds- helps relieve most symptoms of the common cold.
Lemon Juice- high in Vitamin C. Strengthens the immune system and helps fight the common cold.
Manuka Honey- anti-viral properties that helps your body recover from the common cold.
Add 2 teaspoons lemon juice, 1 teaspoon Manuka Honey, 1 teaspoon ground fenugreek seed and 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper to 1 cup boiling water. Let steep 5 minutes. Drink.
Drink this up to 4 times per day until symptoms subside.
Ginger Tea- Try ginger tea to start. Cut up a piece of raw ginger and then chop it finely. Add the ginger to a pot of boiling water and then strain the tea to remove the bits of ginger. You can add a dash of honey or lemon if you like.
Eucalyptus Oil- eucalyptus oil is considered to the best to use because of its antiviral and antimicrobial healing properties.

1part Chamomile German Matricaria recutita flowers
1 part Spearmint Mentha viridis (L.) leaves
1 part Elder Sambucus nigra flowers
1 tsp grated Ginger Zingiber officinale root
1 tsp minced Garlic Allium sativum
1 pinch Cayenne Capsicum annuum
Keep in sealed package or jar until ready to use. When ready to use add 1 tsp to tea cup. Pour 8 ounces boiling water over herbs and steep 5-10 minutes. Strain. Add 2-4 teaspoons of honey to sweeten and juice from 1 lemon. Stir and enjoy! Do this each day at the first symptom of cold coming on.
